Our Story

Stella and Tyler met online and quickly realized they had a lot in common—from their love of motorcycles to the surprise discovery that they worked at the same company! They texted nonstop until they finally decided it was time for a first date.

That first date was at Rockpit Brewing. Once they finally met up, the nerves disappeared, and the conversation flowed effortlessly. They talked and laughed so much that the brewery closed at 10:00pm without them even noticing. The staff kindly let them stay until 11:30pm because, in their words, “you’re clearly having too much fun.”

The only challenge, for the first eight months of their relationship, they worked completely opposite schedules. Tyler worked Monday–Thursday from 7:00am-5:00pm, while Stella worked Friday–Sunday from 5:00am- 5:30pm. This meant that whenever they went on dates, one of them was usually just getting off work. During this time, the term “Jabba-ing” was coined, when Stella would fall asleep mid conversation, sounding suspiciously like Jabba the Hutt.

Despite the challenge, they learned to truly value their time together and always gave 110% when they had the chance to see each other. After eight long months, they finally ended up on the same schedule, and everything changed.

From that point on, it felt like they had endless time together. From everyday date nights to trips as far as Norway, they still wanted to be together nonstop. On a weekend beach trip, Tyler proposed to Stella during the most beautiful sunset, with bystanders capturing the moment perfectly.

They are so excited to say “I do” on February 20th and spend forever on the same schedule. 💕
